Chairman's message

Dear EUROPUMP Members and Associations,
Dear Colleagues, Dear Guests,

On behalf of VDMA Pumps + Systems Association I have the pleasure of inviting you to the 2015 EUROPUMP Annual Meeting in Dresden/Germany from 7 to 9 May 2015.

The EUROPUMP Annual Meeting programme will include interesting updates on all matters of relevance to European and American pump companies, such as EU directives, standards, initiatives, market reports, energy strategy and many more.

Full details and the latest information about venue, programme, pricing and registration procedure can be found on the following pages.

The Steigenberger Hotel de Saxe, which is located opposite the Frauenkirche, will provide the venue for the annual meeting.

Parallel to the meetings and informative exchange of opinions, an attractive Partner Programme has been arranged. It will include a tour to the picturesque town of Meissen with a visit to the world-famous Meissen porcelain factory and a round tour of the reconstructed old baroque city centre of Dresden.

For our Social Programme we have organized two wonderful evening events. The first day will close with the National Evening Dinner on the paddle steamer “Dresden”, offering a splendid view of the Elbe Valley with its most attractive sights by night.

A guided tour of the Historical Green Vault will close our second day, followed by the traditional Formal Dinner in the historical reconstructed little court yard of the Dresden Royal Palace.

Additionally, prior to the General Assembly, a trip to the “Gläserne Manufaktur” (Transparent Factory) is offered, where we can watch the impressive final assembly cycle of luxury cars.

We hope to have organized a very attractive programme for the 2015 EUROPUMP Annual Meeting and trust you will consider attending this important and prestigious event.

Please ensure you book early, as on-site accommodation cannot be guaranteed for any reservations received after 10 January 2015.

To keep informed about the latest updates, please visit our website regularly.

I look forward to meeting you in Dresden.
